Alphonse,

In the course of Operation PULLSTRING the enclosed document was recovered from
a courier bearing NRO identification.  Note that the first pages and several
sections have been redacted, but Jean has identified it as paperwork from
HEARTLIGHT, what has previously been considered a minor and inconclusive Night
at the Opera conducted circa 1982.

I established surveillance of the vicinity based on these reports of UFO
activity and BLUE LIGHT mobilization, in order to develop intelligence for
possible use by DELTA GREEN assets according to the detected alien activity
and threat level.  Coordinates for the alleged landing site placed it in a
heavily wooded area, and ground radiation levels confirmed likely alien
contact.  [PORTION REDACTED] 

On arrival I observed that the EBE had already established contact with an
apparent human child (ref ELLIOT), using said child's home as a base of
operations.  During surveillance I acquired visual contact with the EBE, and
ascertained that it was of a similar kind to others reported in conjunction
with BLUE LIGHT operations (ref GRAYS).  Audio surveillance of the EBE's base
recorded its initial encounter with ELLIOT's younger sister (ref GERTIE):  her
initial reaction was a period of extended screaming, silenced by ELLIOT in
order to maintain concealment.  The EBE used an undiscerned technique to quiet
GERTIE; visual surveillance recorded only a faint glow in the room with no
corresponding increase in thermal or electromagnetic levels.

LIGHT or NRO-DELTA operatives according to [PORTION REDACTED] 

...Through careful surveillance I observed the EBE and its accomplice ELLIOT
constructing what appeared to be a makeshift communications apparatus.
Despite the technical nature of the work, the origins of the EBE were hinted
at in the croaking chant which it repeatedly intoned:

"Ey'ti bho n'o!  Ey'ti bho n'o!"

There was no discernable effect after overnight operation of the apparatus,
but the tone of the chant seemed all too familiar after [PORTION REDACTED],
leading me to speculate on the nature of the EBE and its ilk and of its goals.
Was it not the same in restrained menace as the prayers of the [PORTION
REDACTED]?  What horrors from beyond the void might have heard that horrid
croaking song??

I recovered my senses lying still beneath the swollen boughs of writhing,
unulating redwoods which swayed arhythmically as if to the piping of some
unseen and unheard atonal flute.  Or it may have been the wind.  I returned to
surveillance of the EBE's base of operations, but BLUE FLY teams had already
moved in, captured the EBE and quarantined the house.  

Despite extraordinary security measures I obtained brief surveillance of the
EBE in contact with the boy ELLIOT, and saw more clearly the "glowing"
phenomenon.  It emanated from the EBE's hand, though it was unclear whether it
was technological or psychogenic in origin.  Following the emanation, ELLIOT
effected the release of the EBE from the BLUE FLY guards, the ease of which
suggested some form of sensory or mental manipulation.  Additionally, some
form of levitative power or technology was employed to facilitate the escape
of the EBE and its accomplices.  At this point visual surveillance of the EBE
was lost.

Operatives pursuing related investigations should be alerted to the
possibility of increased EBE contact and exposure, and to the previously
unseen powers or technologies which were demonstrated here.  It is imperative
that the creature's accomplices, ELLIOT and GERTIE, be apprehended immediately
if useful intelligence is to be extracted before the BLUE LIGHT boys get to
them. Considering the degree of their exposure to and use of alien technology
and techniques, operatives should be prepared to use extreme force in
effecting these collaborators' capture.
