Hello Both,

Having read the press coverage of the "incident" last night at 1652 
24th Street, Queens, the 'Church', See NY Times article 04/06/98 "27 
DEAD, 10 MISSING IN NYC CULT RAID" for details even though you are no 
doubt aware of the facts of the situation.  I have just realised that 
we have not considered the possibility's offered via an interrogation 
of the surviving members of the congregation.  This should be 
followed up in my opinion, I feel this is a job suitable for 
friendly talents, the likelihood is that these are the foot soldiers 
of the organization and will not know anything of significance for 
our investigation.  However the friendlie's should be briefed to 
keep a look out for any survivor who seems to be a focus for the 10 
survivors, these people should be noted and names / backgrounds 
forwarded to M cell for further investigation..  Given the status of 
Agent Mark this is the best tack for the survivors I can think of at 
present.  Myself and Friendly Kelly will I presume be devoting our 
efforts to tracking down Agent Marks mystery liaison if possible.  

Mark any comments on my proposed plan of action would be welcomed.

I would also request that visual surveillance equipment be added to 
my request for audio surveillance for all Cell Members at all times.  
SECURITY ISSUE all transmission from these device must be shielded 
and encrypted to prevent interception and the base units recording 
their output, presumably with Friendly Danforth be rigged for fast 
erasure.  Possibly a small PE charge, (recommend Chekoslovakian 
SEMTEX), inside the equipment itself along with quick magnetic 
erasure of all storage media.  The PE charge would be the last resort 
of course.  We have the option of not informing Friendly D that the 
electronics are so to speak, "charged", and just providing him with a 
panic button in case he cannot erase the information thus ensuring 
the equipment is destroyed; and his silence, if the surveillance 
vehicle is under a direct risk of exposure and he is under direct 
risk of capture.

This option is recommended given the public exposure of this 
investigation at present.  Better to loose via destruction our 
evidence than have it in the public domain or worse in the hands of 
the very people we are investigating.
