I had another painting I was going to use for the cover of GOD'S TEETH, but this one kept creeping out through my brush. Finally, I just had to paint the fucker (which, of course, I mis-sized for the bleed and had to expand). Anyway, everyone I show it to goes, "UGH, WHAT IS THAT?"

Requested by quite a few people, I managed to track a copy down of INSYLUM, a game in which most of the nascent ideas of the Night World found in IMPOSSIBLE LANDSCAPES first found their teeth and which I wrote in 2005, way back when I was still making video games in Vancouver, BC.

Things become wondrous in their absence...even terrible things, the things that people live in fear of. Given the right circumstance, anything, any horror, can become beautiful to the right person. Aging, illness, death...these are precious to me now.
