The Witness Alliance, a non-profit watch group specializing in right-wing domestic terrorism and fringe religious movements, reports a suspicious death to old friends within the US government. Folki Tyrsson died the leader of the Wolves of Erik, a "neo-völkist" biker gang and pagan cult that once terrorized the country.

At first glance, the washed-up old bigot appears to have died in a housefire, but one of DG's most accomplished veterans refuses to let the issue go. Out of respect for his sacrifices, the Program assembles a task force to look closer.
