Delta Green Psychological Operations Report, 011932(Z) APR 24

Director,

Operation DG RPG continues to hold the attention of niche media and of consumers of conspiracy and tabletop role-playing games, expanding and deepening the pretense of the Program and its activities being works of fiction. I provide here for your reference updates on a few of the operation’s upcoming publications. As always, we offer no guaranteed release dates and only the most vague and tenuous estimates.

KS Rewards & More—Delta Green: The Role-Playing Game

Core disinfo team members, under their established aliases, are working on the final publications in our longest-standing project.

OPERATIONAL HISTORY: A deep history of the fictionalized “Delta Green” from its inception to the modern world, filled with operations, NPCs, handouts, artifacts, threats and more. Originally planned as a short work in PDF only, it has become quite substantial. A hardback edition will be available. Dennis Detwiller is writing and illustrating it now, building on work by Caleb Stokes and others.

PISCES: An overview of a British organization that investigates the unnatural, a sort of analogue to Delta Green but with its own deep terrors. Adam Scott Glancy is nearing the end of expansion and revisions of a first draft by Giles Hill, Adam Crossingham and others.

FALLING TOWERS: A campaign set in 2003 New York, when Delta Green agents both in and out of the recently activated “Program” see vulnerability in the lethal cult known as the Fate and set out to collect on countless bloody debts. Being written by Shane Ivey.

DEEP STATE: A deep look at what became of the MAJESTIC program’s scattered remnants after its dissolution in 2001, and particularly the umbrella company that continues to wring profit from the work of the Program just as it did from MAJESTIC: March Technologies. Dennis Detwiller is writing it now, building on work by Chris Gunning and Shane Ivey.

MERIDIAN (AVAILABLE): A bonus scenario written by Shane Ivey. Its PDF edition has been sent free to backers of the 2015 Delta Green: The Role-Playing Game Kickstarter project. It is also available in paperback and as a PDF purchase to everyone else. You can’t die, Katty.

Katty can't die. See her smile from a mycelial bed. See her eyes and mouth luminesce in brilliant colors.

KS Rewards & More—The Labyrinth

We likewise close in on the last works sparked by this 2018 Kickstarter project.

EVIDENCE KIT—GOD’S TEETH (AVAILABLE): Bonus handouts and resources for the jaw-dropping campaign Delta Green: God’s Teeth. The PDF edition goes out today to Kickstarter backers and preorders. Its paperback edition is likewise now shipping.

A man with intense eyes offers you a pink folder decorated with a cartoon cat. Do you take it? Do you wish to see what it holds?

THE GOOD LIFE (JUN 2024): A new scenario by John Scott Tynes. It exposes Delta Green agents to the work of the Atlanta nonprofit Center for the Missing Child, described in The Labyrinth. Illustrated by Dennis Detwiller. Now in layout. PDF and paperback publication expected in June 2024. It will eventually be part of the hardback collection Final Passages.

A vaguely canine monstrosity feeds on raw, dead flesh, staining fur and immense claws and fangs.

THOSE WHO COME AFTER: A sourcebook detailing the extratemporal machinations of the so-called Great Race of Yith—that being only the first half. The second half will explore a few of those machinations with a thorough update to the complete campaign Future/Perfect, featuring all new art by author Dennis Detwiller.

An explorer clambers into a deep cave, venturing from the clean light of day to the blackest earth. An agent or academic studies a wall of strange engravings. An expressionless young girl stares from his shadows with eyes that hint of uncanny things.

SCENARIOS FOR GOD’S TEETH (JUL–AUG 2024): Caleb Stokes playtested God’s Teeth with a number of scenarios that would not fit in the final book. We have finalized them as optional add-ons for that campaign. Or they can be played entirely on their own. They will soon begin to appear in PDF and paperback since they were not funded by the Labyrinth KS proper: God’s Eye (July 2024), God’s Breath (July 2024), God’s Law (August 2024), God’s Light (August 2024). They will eventually be gathered in a hardback collection, God’s Hunt.

KS Rewards—The Conspiracy

Backers in this 2021 KS could opt to have all physical rewards shipped at once, after the last is produced, to minimize shipping costs; to have them shipped in a few waves; or to have them shipped as each item comes out. The next wave will come in a few months when its last item, the fiction collection The Whisper Labyrinth, is ready.

THE KING IN YELLOW (AVAILABLE): Kenneth Hite’s fulsomely annotated edition of Robert Chambers’ classic work has shipped to backers in a beautiful paperback, adorned with paintings and charcoals by Samuel Araya. An ebook edition should be available in the next week or two.

Strangeness sits in a boat. A raven. A figure in yellow robes. A lake where cloud-waves break.

THE KING IN YELLOW TAROT DECK (APR 2024): What hold your future, your dreams, your hopes, your understanding, when you turn to the King in Yellow for answers? This tarot deck, painted by Kurt Komoda from concepts established in Delta Green: Countdown by John Scott Tynes and Daniel Harms, offers all the revelations your imagination could desire. Shipping now in the US; shipping internationally in 2–3 weeks; its PDF available this week.
